CRC imports to Turkey increased by 40.8% in January-October 2025

According to preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in October of this year, imports of cold-rolled coils (CRC) to Turkey amounted to 86,242 metric tons, which is 0.3 percent less than in September and 63.9 percent more year-on-year. Meanwhile, the value of these imports amounted to $56 million, an increase of 0.9 percent compared to the previous month and 42.3 percent year-on-year.

Between January and October, CRC imports to Turkey totaled 886,496 tons, up 40.8 percent, while the value of these imports increased by 18.1 percent to $575.29 million, both year-on-year.

Import of cold-rolled coils to Turkey - the last 12 months

In the first ten months of the year, the largest source of CRC imports to Turkey was South Korea, which supplied 285,004 tons, which is 60.7 percent more than last year. South Korea is followed by Russia with 246,114 tons, up 90 percent from last year, and China with 215,720 tons, up 40.5 percent from the same period last year.
