Brazil exported 11,900 tons of heavy slabs in November, up from 21,000 tons in October, according to SISCOMEX.
November exports were to South America (11,700 tons at $677/t) and Trinidad and Tobago (200 tons at $710/t), shipped Usiminas (10,600 tons), Gerdau (1,100 tons) and CSN (200 tons).
Meanwhile, Brazil imported 2,900 tons of heavy slabs in November, up from 1,400 tons in October.
The origin of imports was China (2,300 tons at $ 563/t) and Europe (600 tons at a price of $ 1225/t), also FOB
conditions.
