China's crude steel production fell below 70 million tonnes in November, down 4.0% in January-November 2025.

In November this year, China's output of pig iron, crude steel and finished steel was 62.34 million tons, 69.87 million tons and 115.91 million tons, down 8.7 percent, 10.9 percent and 2.6 percent year on year and 4.9 percent, 2.96 percent and 2.3 percent month on month, respectively, the National National Bank announced. (NBS).  This is the lowest monthly output this year, following an already low 72 million tonnes in October and the highest monthly output this year of 92.8 million tonnes in March. The low output in November was expected given production cuts announced in some provinces to combat environmental pollution as well as to meet annual production targets.

Between January and November this year, China's output of pig iron, crude steel and finished steel was 774.05 million tons, 891.67 million tons and 1.33277 billion tons, down 2.3 percent and down by 4.0. percent and increases by 4.0 percent year on year, respectively.
