Car production in Turkey increased by 4.3 percent in January-November 2025

According to monthly statistics published by the Turkish Automobile Manufacturers Association (OSD), in November this year, the volume of car production in Turkey amounted to 131,606 units, which is 10.6 percent more year-on-year and 0.2 percent lower month-on-month. In January-November, car production in Turkey amounted to 1,295,031 units, which is 4.3 percent more than a year earlier.

In this month, passenger car production totaled 78,955 units, down 1.4 percent, while commercial vehicle production totaled 52,651 units, up 35.1 percent from last year. In January-November of this year, the production of passenger cars amounted to 796,276 units, a decrease of 3.2 percent, and the production of commercial vehicles amounted to 498,755 units, an increase of 18.9 percent, compared to the same period in 2024.

The total capacity utilization of the Turkish automotive industry in November was 73.5 percent, compared with 66.3 percent in November. the first 11 months of the year.
