The company said that the average daily crude steel production in December 2025 is 19,450 tons with capacity utilization of 92 percent.
RINL is facing acute financial stress caused by high input costs, volatile steel prices, inherited debt, and working capital constraints. These problems affected production levels and put pressure on the company's operations, despite the plant's basic technical strength and the skill base of its workforce.
Achieving crude steel production is nearing completion following a warning from the Indian Ministry of Steel that RINL will need to continuously maintain capacity utilization at at least 92 percent to ensure its long-term financial health.
