In January-November of this year, China's hot-rolled roll production totaled 205.313 million tons, an increase of 5.0% year-on-year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS).
During the same period, China's cold-rolled roll production totaled 44.348 million tons, an increase of 7.7% year-on-year.
In November alone, China's HRC and CRC production totaled 17.817 million tons and 4.303 million tons, up 1.4% and 9.8% year-on-year, while declining 1.8% and 2.1% month-on-month, respectively.
In November, HRC prices in China's domestic market initially declined and then recovered. The highest price level for HRC in November was recorded at 3,430 yuan/ton ($486/ton) on November 1-2, and the lowest level was observed on November 7-10 at 3,355 yuan/ton ($475/ton).
