Taiwan Customs Administration under the Ministry of Finance announced the launch of an anti-dumping investigation (AD) into cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel (NOES) products from South Korea and China.
The investigation was launched at the request of domestic manufacturer China Steel Corporation (CSC), which claims that the products in question were dumped and caused harm to the Taiwanese industry. The Department will evaluate whether similar domestically produced products have been subject to unfair competition from imported products.
The Department will also announce the results of the determination of retroactive imposition of dumping duties after the final determination of dumping duties is completed.
