According to SECEX, Brazil's foreign trade body, Brazil exported 209,929 tons of finished carbon steel products in November, valued at $152,867 million, and imported 323,843 tons, valued at $220,651 million.
By comparison, Brazil exported 159,592 tons of finished carbon steel products at a price of US$111,238 million and imported 313,148 tonnes valued at US$215,483 million in October.
The November figures indicate a commercial deficit of 113,913 tonnes, versus also a deficit of 153,555 tonnes in October.
In dollar terms, there was a deficit of 67 tonnes in November 783 million dollars against also a deficit of $104.245 million in October.
By volume, the main exported goods in November were rebar (24 percent), HRC rolled products (23 percent), coated and CRC flat products (17 percent each), wire rod (10 percent) and beams (7 percent).
The main import items in November were coated flat steel (52 percent), HRC (23 percent), CRC (10 percent) and steel wire (5 percent).
