Brazil's COMEX foreign trade authority reported average freight rates for the country's steel imports in November.
For coated flat products: US$54/ton from China, US$130/ton from South Korea, US$127/ton from Japan, US$30/ton from Germany and US$154/ton from Vietnam.
For HRC: 32 US dollars/ton from Vietnam. South Korea, $28/t from Egypt, $68/t from China and $202/t from Italy.
For CRC: $59/t from South Korea, $43/t from China and $18/t from Egypt.
For rebar: $64/t from Russia, $88/t from China, $111/t from South Korea and 36 $/t from Egypt.
For wire it was $102/t from China, $28/t from Egypt, $22/t from Spain, $89/t from France and $195/t from South Korea.
For beams: $72/t from China, $20/t from Turkey and US$26/t from South Korea. Spain.
For wire rod, $56/t from China, $65/t from Russia, $36/t from Egypt and $20/t from Germany.
In November, Brazil's imports of finished steel products from China by volume were equivalent to 63 percent of the total, versus 74 percent in October.
