In the period from January to November, Turkey's crude steel production totaled 34.6 million tons, an increase of two percent year-on-year. The country's bullion production increased by five percent to 21.9 million tons, while slab production decreased by three percent to 12.6 million tons year-on-year.
Meanwhile, in the first 11 months of the year, 24.9 million tons, which corresponds to 72.2% of the country's crude steel production, were produced by electric arc furnaces, and 9.59 million tons, which corresponds to 27.8%, were produced by integrated plants.
