The purpose of the agreement is to create a framework for research collaboration between NMDC and the Colorado School of Mines, USA, including joint research, technology development, training, capacity building, knowledge sharing, seminars, workshops and joint projects in the mining industry, processing of minerals, metallurgy, AI/ML in the mining industry and related fields.
The agreement primarily describes the areas of joint research, implementation mechanism, intellectual property sharing, duration, arbitration, termination, and confidentiality provisions, the company said.
In addition, the Memorandum of Understanding may be terminated by either party with three months' written notice. Changes can only be made by written mutual consent.
