The United States shipped the majority of structural pipes to Mexico in August with 3,518 tons, compared with 3,410 tons in July and 4,708 tons in August last year. The other leading export destination was Canada with 1908 metric tons. In August, there were no other significant destinations (1,000 tons or more) for pipe exports from the United States.

According to the export data of the US Department of Commerce, exports from the United States of structural pipes amounted to 5,819 tons in August this year, which is 8.5% less than in July and 47.5% less than in August last year. In value terms, exports of structural pipes totaled $15.1 million in August, compared with $13.3 million in the previous month and $16.9 million in the same month last year.
