The production of base metals in Taiwan in November 2025 decreased by 4.05 percent compared to October

Taiwan's industrial production index rose 3.97 percent in November this year from the previous month and 16.42 percent year-on-year, according to the country's Ministry of Economy (MOEA). Meanwhile, Taiwan's seasonally adjusted industrial production index increased by 4.84 percent month-on-month and by 16.27 percent year-on-year.

In this month, industrial production in the country's main metalworking sector fell by 4.05 percent, while output of metal products remained unchanged compared to the previous month. In addition, year-on-year in November, the production volume of the main metalworking sector decreased by 10.79 percent, while the production volume of metal products decreased by 7.78 percent.

Meanwhile, in November, production in Taiwan's machinery and equipment industry decreased by 4.26 percent, while production in the automotive industry decreased by 14.22 percent year-on-year.
