During the period, Vietnam was the largest importer of Japanese scrap, importing 2.99 million tons, up 32.3 percent from last year. Vietnam was followed by Bangladesh and South Korea, which imported 1.27 million tons and 1.16 million tons of scrap, up 127.2 percent and down 18.7 percent, respectively, year-on-year.
Meanwhile, Japan's scrap exports to Indonesia stood at 408,542 tons between January and November this year, up from 151 840 tons for the same period last year. in the previous year.
