In December this year, the capacity utilization rate of the Turkish base metals industry was 75.8 percent, compared with 75.3 percent recorded in the previous month, while the capacity utilization rate of the Turkish base metals industry was 75.7 percent in December 2024, according to preliminary data released by the Central Bank of Turkey.
Meanwhile, the capacity utilization rate in this month capacity in the production of metal products, excluding machinery and equipment equipment, was 74.1 percent, an increase from 72.8 percent recorded in November and an increase from 71.4 percent in December 2024.
Capacity utilization rate in Turkey's general manufacturing industry, on the other hand, stood at 74.4 percent in December this year, remaining unchanged compared from the previous month and down from 75.8 percent in the same month in 2024.
