The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which includes Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Armenia, announced the launch of a new anti-dumping investigation in connection with the approaching expiration of anti-dumping duties on seamless OCTG pipes from China.
The investigation was launched at the request of the JSC "Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant", JSC "Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant", JSC "Volzhsky Pipe Plant", JSC "Seversky Pipe Plant", JSC "Taganrog Metallurgical Plant" and JSC "Sinarsky Pipe Plant". The Commission will consider whether the cessation of the anti-dumping duty will lead to the continuation of dumped imports and renewed harm to the economic sector. The current anti-dumping duty ranges from 12.23 to 31.0 percent of the customs value, depending on the manufacturer.
The investigation period covers the period from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.
