India's industrial output, as measured by the Industrial Production Index (IIP), was recorded at 6.7 percent in November 2025, a two-year high, according to government data released on Tuesday, December 30.

IIP growth previously peaked at 11.9 percent in November 2023.

Manufacturing output increased by 8% In November, electricity production decreased by 1.5%.

Growth in the mining sector at 5.4 percent also recovered due to the end of the rainy season and strong growth in mining, primarily iron ore, the government said in a statement.
