According to preliminary foreign trade statistics compiled by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in November this year, the value of iron and steel imports to Turkey fell by 7.8 percent year-on-year, amounting to $1.95 billion. In this month, iron and steel ranked sixth among the country's most imported products in terms of value. In the first 11 months of this year, the value of Turkish ferrous metallurgy imports amounted to $20.36 billion, a decrease of 5.1% compared to the same period in 2024.
