Indian state-owned mining company NMDC limited achieved iron ore production of 5.4 million tonnes in December 2025, up 14.64 percent from the corresponding month of the previous year, according to a company statement on Friday, January 2.
The company achieved 18.67 percent sales growth during the month at 4.71 million tonnes.
The cumulative iron ore production of NMDC limited during April-December period of financial year 2025-26 is 36.89 million tonnes, up 19.88 percent year-on-year. Sales for the same period amounted to 34.92 million tons, an increase of 9.8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
