Indian MOIL LIMITED forecasts a 4% increase in manganese ore production in the third quarter of fiscal year 2025-26

The Indian state-owned manganese ore mining company Moil Limited achieved ore production of 477,000 tons in the third quarter (October-December) of the fiscal year 2025-26, an increase of 3.7 percent compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year and the highest production volume of any previous third quarter since its inception, according to the the company's statement on Tuesday, January 6.

The company stated that total manganese ore production during the first nine months (April-December) of the fiscal year 2025-26 amounted to 1.421 million tons, an increase of 6.8 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

Moil Limited attributed the improvement in physical performance to targeted mining planning, better operational discipline, improved mechanization, and consistent efforts by the workforce.
