The Ukrainian metallurgical plant Zaporizhstal, owned by Metinvest, announced production results for December and the entire year 2025.
In December last year, Zaporizhstal produced 314,000 tons of pig iron, 278,500 tons of steel and 251,400 tons of finished steel, which is 10.3 percent, 13.4 percent and 7.4 percent year on year respectively.
In 2025, Zaporizhstal's pig iron production amounted to 3.57 million tons, an increase of 14.8 percent year on year, while steel and finished steel production amounted to 3.21 million tons and 2.79 million tons, respectively, an increase of 11.1 percent and 15.2 percent year on year
