On December 31 last year, the total domestic inventories of five major finished steel products in China's 21 major cities totaled 7.21 million tons, down 270,000 tons or 3.6 percent from December 20, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).
In particular, as of December 31, domestic inventories HRC, sheet steel, wire rod and rebar fell 2.5 percent, 3.1 percent, 5.8 percent and 6.9 percent, respectively, while CRC inventories rose 2.9 percent from Dec. 20.
