The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) has announced that it has initiated a review of the expiration of the anti-dumping duty (AD) on certain hot-rolled carbon steel sheets and high-strength low-alloy steel sheets from Taiwan and Germany.
The Tribunal will render a decision no later than June 4, 2026 and will publish its reasons by June 19, 2026 whether the orders expire is likely to result in continued or renewed dumping of the goods in question.
Current dumping margins for this product from Taiwan and Germany are 80.6 percent and 68.6 percent, respectively.
