In the first two months of this year, the Enakievsky metallurgical plant of the group Metinvest increased the production of steel to 458 thousand tons, which is 1% more than in January - February 2012. This was reported by the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine.
In addition, the production of metal rolling over this period increased by 5.8% - to 452 thousand tons and cast iron smelting amounted to 416 tons, which is 4% more than in the first two months of 2012.
As we have already reported, last year, EMZ produced 2 million 730 thousand tons of steel, smelted 2 million 465 thousand tons of cast iron and manufactured 2 million 670 thousand tons of metal rolling.
