According to the industry association of Metallurgprom, in April 2013, steel production in Ukraine will be about 2 million 620 million tons, which is 0.6% more than in February and 8% less than it is planned to melt in March.
According to the forecast of this organization, the melting of cast iron at the country's departments will reach 2 million 340 thousand tons, which is 3.5% more than last month, and the production of metal rolling will increase by 4.3% to 2 million 380 thousand tons, which in turn is less than the volume predicted in March by 7%
As we have already reported, this month it is planned to melt 2 million 800 thousand tons, make 2 million 540 thousand tons of cast iron and produce 2 million 550 thousand tons of metal rolling.
The metallurgicalprom explained such a significant decline in production in Ukrainian metallurgy by conducting overhaul of the main metallurgical units at a number of enterprises.
