The largest manufacturer of the metal distribution in Ukraine Arselormital Kryvyi Rih for the first two months of 2013 compared to January - February 2012 increased the production of steel by 8.5% to 1 million 46 thousand 900 tons. This is stated in the message of the enterprise.

According to published data, in January - February 2013, the Kryvyi Rih Metallurgical Plant produced 908 thousand 400 tons of metal rolling, which is 7.2% more than in the same period last year. At the same time, the production of cast iron amounted to 908 thousand 400 tons, which is also 8.5% more in annual comparison.

Meanwhile, in February 2013, compared with February 2012, production increased by 24.6% - to 510 thousand 400 tons, metal products increased by 19.3% to 43 thousand tons of tons, and cast iron by 20.9% to 441 thousand 200 tons.

“February 2013 was successful for the enterprise, since the production of all types of products was at the business plan level. In February 2013, the level of production of cast iron was higher by 76 thousand tons ( +20.9%), steel - by 101 thousand tons ( +24.6%), rolled - by 71 thousand tons ( +19.3%) compared with the volume of production in February last year. In February 2013, the planned overhaul of converter No. 6 continued, which was started in January of this year and will be completed in March 2013, ”said Paramizhu Kalon, head of the Arselormital Kryvoy Rog PJSC.
