According to the Metal -Courier magazine, the Arselormittal Crooked Rog Metallurgical Plant intends to increase the shipment of reinforcing steel to its consumers in March 2% - up to 225 thousand tons. At the same time, the shipment of reinforcement in the Russian Federation will increase by 4-5% compared to the last month.
According to the publication, from 29 to 32 thousand tons of metal rolling will be sold to the domestic market of Ukraine, which is 10-12% of the total sales of the plant and 6-7% more than it was possible in February.
More than 40 thousand tons of reinforcement will leave for Russia. In other export areas, sales and shipments will remain at the same level.
Arselormittal Kryvyi Rih expects the largest increase in sales volumes in April when a seasonal improvement in the demand for construction metal rolling will begin.
