As it became known to the reconnaissance agencies Reuters, the Brazilian CIA Siderurgica Nacional SA (CSN) is not going to leave the THYSSENKRUPP metallurgical assets distance in the race.
CSN managed to agree with the BNDES National Bank (BNDES) on the provision of a preferential loan for the purchase of a German fleet in Alabama. As we have already reported, CSN for several months has achieved partnership from BNDES in any form for this acquisition. Moreover, all options were considered, up to the creation of a joint venture.
Good for sale of plants in Thyssenkrupp promised to give before the end of March, reports Reuters. Her intelligence reported that CSN offers 3 billion 800 million dollars for German factories in Alabam and Rio de Janeiro. "The ball today is on the side of the Thyssenkrub field," they say in the agency.
CSN is going to buy an American and Brazilian plant, realizing that this will extremely negatively affect the cost of its shares, the fall of which in this case, according to Deutsche Bank experts, will be inevitable. "The acquisition of metallurgical assets will contribute to the formation of a negative value of profit, increase the total debt and distract the forces from more profitable projects," says analyst Rodrigo Barros.
Recall that in the race for assets that led to the resignation of the steel king of Germany - the head of Thyssenkrupp, Dr. Gerhard Kromme, almost all the largest metallurgical corporations in the world are involved. He heads the Arselormital list in the consortium with the Japanese Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corp.
