In February 2013, the decline in industrial production in the metallurgical industry of Ukraine in relation to February 2012 amounted to 6.6%. This was reported by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
The report said that the total decline in industrial production in the country's economy in an annual comparison reached 6%in February, compared to the previous month - 0.6%.
The decline was recorded in all basic sectors of the national economy, in addition to the food, tobacco and alcoholic industries, where growth was 3%, the pharmaceutical industry is 21.9%and in the production of wooden products (!!!) - 8.4%.
In the sector of residential and non -residential real estate, according to the data obtained from the All -Ukrainian portal Domria , there was no significant fall.
So in the engineering, the decline in industrial production reached 11.4%, in the chemical - 22.1%, in the production of electrical equipment - by 33.7%, the production of coke, oil products - by 22.1%
In addition, the decline in industrial production was recorded in oil and gas production at 9%.
Meanwhile, in the remaining production industries of Ukraine, growth was observed: in the extraction of stone and brown coal - by 1.4%, the extraction of metal ores - by 4.3%
As reported, in January 2013, the fall was 3.2% of January 2012, the drop in industrial production in Ukraine in 2012 compared to 2011 amounted to 1.8%. In 2011 (January-December 2011 against January-December 2010), industrial production in Ukraine grew by 7.6%.
