At a meeting on Mondays on the GMC issues under the leadership of two Deputy Prime Ministers Yuri Boyko and Alexander Vilkul, it was decided to create several working groups on supporting enterprises of the Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Complex.
“The speakers spoke of the complexity of the situation in the industry. As a result, it was decided to create working groups on financial and economic issues, on the development of the domestic market for consumption of metal products, on tariffs for natural monopolies for the purpose of their non-disposal, to coordinate the interests of state shah and metallurgical holdings for the redemption of coking coals in order to avoid the import of this type of energy raw materials, ”says one of the participants, one of the participants said High Assembly General Director of the Association of Koksochemical Enterprises of Ukraine Ukrkoks Anatoly Starovoit.
The meeting was attended by only about 50 people, including representatives of Ukrainian metallurgical and mining companies and groups, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, departmental leaders and heads of industry associations and associations.
Based on the results of the meeting, a decision was made according to which the working groups will gain common positions within two weeks and transfer their proposals to the Ukrainian government.
