Losses in 2012 reached 2.7 billion hryvnias in 2012

In 2012, the Mariupol Metallurgical Plant of the Metinvest Azovstal group, according to preliminary data, received 2 billion 695 million 424 thousand UAH losses. This was reported by the enterprise itself in a notification on the holding of a general meeting of shareholders, appointed on 04/25/2013.

The current obligations of PJSC Azovstal over the past year increased from 7 billion 704 million 388 thousand UAH to 8 billion 772 million 798 thousand UAH. At the same time, the share of long -term obligations decreased to 3 billion 3 million 117 thousand UAH, against 4 billion 969 million 333 thousand UAH in 2011.

The cost of the assets of the Azovstal decreased from 28 billion 525 million 412 thousand UAH in 2011 to 26 billion 572 million 862 thousand UAH at the end of 2012, while the cost of fixed assets increased by almost two billion - to 11 billion 315 million 928 thousand UAH. Retained earnings over the past year amounted to 5 billion 453 million 188 thousand UAH.

As we have already reported, the Azovstal plant manufactured 4 million 168 thousand tons of metal rolling in 2012, which was 22% less than in 2011, 4 million 593 thousand tons produced, which is 17.7% less than in the same period of 2011 and melted the cast iron of 4 million 26 thousand tons (-17.2%).

The number of personnel engaged in Azovstal at the end of 2012 amounted to 12 thousand 309 people.
