The National Commission of China on Reforms reported on the growth of production steel in the country by 11%

The NDRC National Commission of China reported that in January - February 2013, the production of raw steel in China amounted to 125 million 450 thousand tons, which is 10.6% more than in January - February last year.

At the same time, the production of finished metal rolling, coke and ferroalloys reached 158 million 270 thousand tons, 7 million 361 thousand tons and 5 million 100 thousand tons, respectively. In an annual comparison, production growth was: metal rolling - 14.2%, coke - 9.8%and ferroalloys - 20.2%.

In the first two months since the beginning of 2013, China imported 121 million 950 thousand tons of iron ore and 2 million tons of metal rolling, which in the annual calculus is more than 1.5% and 6.3%, respectively.

In addition, Chinese metallurgical companies imported 100 thousand tons of steel blank in January - February of this year, which is one and a half times higher than last year.

The export of the finished metal rolling from China from the beginning of the year to the end of February amounted to 9 million 160 thousand tons, which is a third of 2012. Coksa for this period was shipped beyond the country of 170 thousand tons, which is also 15.3% more than last year.

The prices of metal products in China for a year rose by almost 10% and amounted to 3816 yuan per ton for the rolleine, and for sheet steel 3926 yuan per ton. The only thing that prices fell on is the Chinese cold roll. Here the fall reached 17% in an annual comparison.
