The interests of Euras will be lobbyed by Russian Prime Minister Medvedev

The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation visited the Kemerovo region today, and visited the Evraz United West Siberian Metallurgical Plant. There he met with the employees of the plant at which he promised to provide moral and organizational support to the enterprise in matters of sales of products.

During the working meeting, answering the question of one of the employees of the ZSMK Dmitry Medvedev said: "Do not hesitate. We will provide support, both moral, and not only moral, organizational, and along the line of contacts with Russian Railways."

According to the Russian prime minister, the railway monopolist will purchase Euraz products. “They are ready to buy, so there will be a market: the domestic market and the CIS market, and I hope that not only the CIS,” Medvedev added.

As we have already reported, in May 2012, Evraz and Russian Railways signed a memorandum of cooperation providing for the conclusion of a five -year contract for the supply of rail products for a total of about 90 billion rubles.

Especially under the contract, the ZSMK is reconstructed by a rail -filling workshop for the production of more than 95 thousand tons of rails per year. The cost of reconstruction is estimated at $ 520 million.
