Today there are two real applicants for the purchase of the Donetsk electrometallurgical plant of the Mechel group stopped last year. This was told by the chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Andrei Shishatsky.
As it managed to find out the publication "Kommersant-Ukraine", the ulcosure Act of the Donetskstal and the Lomo-preparatory company "Euro Finance" revealed the desire to acquire a loss-making asset of Mechel.
According to the Donetsk governor, DEMZ intends to buy electrometallurgical companies involved in the scrap business. “Negotiations are underway. If the deal is concluded, this will save most of the team, ”Shishatsky emphasized.
In Sword, for their part, they confirmed the fact of negotiations on the sale of a Ukrainian power station, but they refused to comment on the details of the process.
As it became known, the main topic of negotiations is the price of the asset. On the one hand, Mechel has two applicants for the purchase at once, and on the other hand, not one of them wants to overpay for an idle factory.
