According to Statistics Canada, Canada produced 5,077,787 tonnes of iron ore concentrates in March 2026, up 9.9 per cent from February 2026 and 7.7 per cent less than March 2025.
Canadian iron ore producers shipped 3,448,706 tonnes of iron ore in March concentrates, which is 21.6 percent more than in February and 2.2 percent higher than in March 2025.
Inventories of iron ore concentrates at Canadian producers at the end of March amounted to 7,015,363 tons in March, which is 4.5 percent less than in February and 38.4 percent than in March 2025 year.
