In the ISD complain about the lack of scrap

The acute fraud of scrap metal at the Dnieper Metallurgical Plant named after the Dzerzhinsky group of ISD led to a disruption of the production plan of steel by the converter shop. This is stated in the message of the plant.

As emphasized in the DMKD statement, due to the lack of scrap supplies to the enterprise, it was decided to load cast -iron blanks into converters.

While in Europe they do not know where to surrender scrap metal, its deficiency is growing in Ukraine. The country walking in some way, the country constantly finds problems, as they say, out of the blue.

The need for Ukrainian metallurgists in scrap metal last month was estimated at 400 thousand tons. At the same time, it was planned to melt 2 million 800 thousand tons of steel, including the DMKD planned to purchase 45 thousand tons of scrap. As a result, 2 million 872 thousand tons of steel were smelted in Ukraine in March, and 396 thousand tons were supplied to the metallomus to the road plants.

In the first quarter of 2013, the DMKD reduced the production of metal rolling, according to operational data, by 0.5%compared to the same period in 2012 - up to 826 thousand tons, steel - by 2.1%, up to 807 thousand tons, cast iron - by 8.5%, up to 741 thousand tons, including 307 thousand tons of rolling, 296 thousand thousand thousand thousand Tons of steel and 268 thousand tons of cast iron.
