The new rolling mill is designed to produce 430 thousand tons of varietal metal rolling and rails per year. Technological improvements specially designed by Siemens will increase the stability of finished products to resistance to "fatigue" of metal and increase the wear resistance of the rails.
The new rail -filler workshop, which will cost Kazakhstan Temir Zhola about a billion euros, will produce railway rails of high -quality railway up to 120 meters and 230 thousand tons of channels, beams and a corner. It is planned to equip the rental camp with a ídhra + rolling control system for the production of railway rails. This system was developed jointly with Siemens and Centro Sviluppo Materiali Spa, Italy.

Production is planned to begin in the second half of 2014. Siemens will supply and engineering adjustment of its own equipment, and the customer will be responsible for the supervision of the installation of a new rolling mill and put it into operation.
