In the first quarter of 2013, Ukraine imported one and a half times more iron ore and almost four times more coke compared to the same period last year.
So iron ore raw materials from January to April 2013, according to the Metallurgprom OP, 761 thousand tons were imported (262 thousand tons in March), and coke is 300 thousand tons (in March 123 thousand tons).
Meanwhile, the provision of metallurgical plants with iron ore and agglomerate in the first three months of this year decreased to 98%, the pellet fell to 90%and an iron ore concentrate increased to 102%.
According to the data of the OP Metallurgprom, in the first quarter of 2013, 3 million 310 thousand tons of Ukrainian-made coke were delivered to the country's co-captain of the country, which is 8% less than in January-March last year. In March, Ukrainian cokesochemical plants shipped 1 million 120 thousand tons of coke to metallurgical plants.
Given the imported supplies, the total receipt of coke for the Met enterprise of Ukraine reached 3 million 610 thousand tons, which is 97% of the estimated balance sheet and 98% of the volume of supplies for 3 months of 2012.
