The shareholders of the Ilyich MMK approved the annual report for 2012

Last Friday, a general meeting of shareholders of PJSC Mariupol Metallurgical Plant named after Ilyich was held on which issues of financial activity of the enterprise in 2012 were considered and some changes were made to the charter of the enterprise. This was reported by the corporate publication of the plant - the newspaper "Ilyichevets".

According to the annual report presented to the shareholders, the Ilyich MMK last year received a clean loss of 2 million 782 thousand 306 UAH, which is noted as a positive phenomenon because in 2011 losses were 4 million 510 thousand UAH. It is clear that the question was not even raised about dividends.

Nevertheless, the audience approved the unprofitable financial report, extended the powers of the Supervisory Board, despite the negative results of the work and made not advertised changes to the charter of the company.

Meanwhile, the shareholders of the Ilyich Mariupolsky Commission, according to the report, "decided to cover the losses from the income of future periods."

According to the General Director of the plant Yuri Zinchenko "Despite the ongoing crisis and a difficult economic situation, thanks to the efforts of the entire team, we managed to turn the situation and significantly improve our work indicators this year. We will continue to search for internal reserves, to optimize production processes. Only this is the key to a stable positive result."

Million losses did not prevent the company from fulfilling the investment program intended for 2012, ensure budget payments and social security of employees.

As previously reported, the uncovered loss of the plant by the end of last year amounted to 4 billion 725 million 78 thousand UAH.

In February 2013, the Ilyich MMK went to break work for the first time in the last and a half years. Its CEO predicts that by the end of 2013 it will be possible to bring the monthly profit of the enterprise to $ 10 million.
