Metinvest will put 30 million hryvnias into the social sphere of Krivoy Rog

The agreement signed for 2013 between the Metinvest group and the Krivoy Rog authorities on social partnership provides for financing urban social programs in the amount of UAH 30 million. This was reported by the press center of Metinvest.

The agreement will be implemented as part of the Social Partnership program of the Metinvest group. As noted in the message, "the main areas of social partnership will be the development of urban infrastructure, health and environmental protection, improving the quality of education, developing mass sports and promoting a healthy way of life."

Last year, the company has already signed a similar agreement and fully fulfilled its obligations to the city of Krivoy Rog. In particular, work was carried out on the improvement of the city and large -scale projects were implemented: the reconstruction of the park named after Komsomol, the streets of Armavirskaya and Victory Avenue.

“I want to say that the agreement that we signed last year was completed 100 %. For this year, we and all the enterprises of Metinvest developed a specific social program for specific facilities, for purposeful investment. I am sure that 2013 will be successful in the cooperation of the city and the company, ”said Yuri Vilkul, mayor of Krivoy Rog.
