The updated Aglomashin was launched on Zaporizhstali

The Zaporizhstal metallurgical plant carried out a large -scale modernization of its equipment. In particular, the agglomeration machine No. 1 was equipped with a new air cleaning complex. The General Director of the plant Rostislav Shurma emphasized that such an innovation is a significant step not only for Zaporizhstali, but also for the environmental situation in the entire region.

The new air cleaning system includes two electrifilters, a compressor station and an exhauser compartment. It allows you to reduce the emission of iron -containing waste 70%, and the release of sulfuric anhydride is 30%. The captured waste is returned back to production. The concentration of SO2 and dust at its output corresponds to the norms established in Europe. According to experts, one of the main advantages of the new gas cleaning is its complete automation.
