According to the publication of The Sunday Times, the largest steeling company British British British Steel is preparing to announce the closure of two main research centers of metallurgy and alloys in the country.
Tata Steel, which is the owner of the British metallurgical company British Steel, has already sent the appropriate appeal to the English government. In particular, it states that the company intends to close two technological centers in Tissid and Rotherham over the next 18 months.
According to The Sunday Times, the curtailing of scientific activity and the translation of centers to the Netherlands and India will lead to a reduction from 300 to 400 highly paid employees.
At the same time, the new centers will be equipped and staffed filters for softening water , air conditioners and modern office equipment.
As previously reported, at the end of last year Tata Steel unveiled plans for the restructuring of the metallurgical business in the UK, which will be more than 900 people.
Tata Steel controls 46 percent of the domestic market became the UK and 48 percent of the country's steel exports, and also provides employment of about 19 thousand people.
Over the past month alone, domestic prices for metal rolling in foggy Albion fell by 5 percent, while the level of demand for steel fell by a third.
