In August 2026, Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), a subsidiary of the Indian state-owned Coal India Limited (CIL), produced 2.18 million tons of coking coal, which is 2.8% more than in the same month last year, according to a regulatory document published on Thursday, September 3.
BCCL also reported that the monthly volume of mined coal amounted to 0.11 million tons, an increase of 13.8% year-on-year.
