Ukraine will grow uranium production

The Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Eduard Stavitsky on April 29, on a working visit, visited the Novostnstanovskaya mine of the East GOK State Enterprise (GP "VOSTGOK").

According to the Minister, the industrial development of the Novokstannivsky deposit of uranium ores will consistently increase the production of uranium and will make it possible to completely close the need for this metal within Ukraine. In addition, the development of this deposit will create a base for the further development of the country's uranium -using industry.

The Novokontanovskoye Deposit of Uranium ores is the basic component of the uranium industry of Ukraine, says Eduard Stavitsky.

"The Novokontanovskoye field is the key to the development of the entire nuclear energy of Ukraine. According to Uranus, the Novoststannovskoye field is one of the largest in Europe and is one of the ten largest Uranus deposits in the world," he emphasized.

The Novokontanovsky mine is a strategically important object for the country as a whole. It is on it that they rely on the development of the energy of Ukraine.

Today, the Ministry of Energy is working on an urgent increase in the production and production of Ukrainian Uranus.

Eduard Stavitsky, together with the head of the Kirovograd region Andrei Nikolaenko, familiarized themselves in detail with the work of the enterprise and heard the proposals of the management of the mine on its further development and exit to a qualitatively best level of work.
