100 billion rubles will be invested in the development of metallurgy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Today, at a special meeting of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a program for the development of the metallurgical complex of the region for 2013 - 2015 was approved. About 100 billion rubles will be invested to fulfill the intended from the state budget. It is reported by ITAR-TASS.

According to the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade, the development of metallurgy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be represented at once by several large projects, the key of which will be the construction of the Boguchansky aluminum plant (bases). The beginning of industrial operation is scheduled for the end of this year, and the withdrawal of a design capacity of 150 thousand tons of aluminum per year is scheduled for 2016.

The next direction where the investment will be sent to the completion of construction and the launch of the rolling complex at the Krasnoyarsk Metallurgical Plant. Additional capacities of 420 thousand tons per year will allow the company to expand the range and quality characteristics of metal products. The volume of investments will be 16.5 billion rubles.

“In addition, the construction of a mining and processing plant in the Sayansky district with a capacity of 18.5 million tons of ore per year will be a significant impulse for the development of the metallurgical complex of the region. Implementation of the project for the development of mineral resources of the Kingash ore node involves the beginning of production in 2016, the launch of the metallurgical plant in 2018. The total investment will exceed 58 billion rubles,” reports. ITAR-TASS.

In general, after the modernization of the metallurgical industry of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in 2015, the volumes of sales of metal rolling by local missile defense systems will increase by more than 7 percent, the industrial production index will increase by 6.6 percent, and employment at the enterprises of the industry will increase by 15.6 percent.
