The volume of copper consumption in China will grow by 7 percent until the end of 2013, according to the Association of Caucasus Metallurgy Enterprises. This year, Chinese enterprises will master 8 million 300 thousand tons of copper. This is evidenced by the publication "Zhongo Zhentsyuan Bao".
In China, there is a certain shortage of copper, they say in association, but the growing expenses of companies are able to slow down consumption and, ultimately, lead to overproduction among Chinese companies.
Despite the strong demand for non -ferrous metal in the domestic market of China, analysts are careful in their assessments of the prospects for the growth of copper consumption. According to them, today the Chinese copper production has recovered to a pre -crisis level. "Given the current trend in 2013, 6 million 300 thousand tons of copper will be produced in the PRC, which is 8 percent more than 2012," the report said.
