In the first quarter of 2013, the metallurgical companies of Ukraine exported 5 million 880 thousand tons of steel rental and 490 thousand 440 tons of cast iron, which is 8.6 and 39.3 percent more than in January-March 2012, respectively. It is reported by UGMK.info.
At the same time, the export of the metal rolling in March grew in an annual comparison by 11.3 percent, and compared with the previous month by 4 percent, exceeding 23 thousand tons of a psychological line of two million tons. In March 2013, the export of cast iron grew one and a half times in an annual comparison and amounted to 129 thousand 900 tons, which is 41.3 percent less than in February.
It should be noted that for the first time in the post -crisis history of Ukrainian metallurgy in the structure of steel export, metallurgical products of the upper redistributions began to prevail a few percent of slabs and blanks, the supply of which decreased by 10 percent.
