Giovanni Florido was charged with 2006 to 2011 ILVA metallurgical plant in the absence of technical and legal documentation and permits. Among the charges are also extortion and bribery, as well as aiding in the environment of the city of Taranto.

As reported, on May 13, lawyers of the ILVA Communist Party submitted another petition to withdraw the arrest from the metallurgical products of the plant produced from 2012 to 2013, which was satisfied with the City of Taranto on May 16, 2013. Thus, more than 2 million tons of metal rolling were thrown into the European market at once.
