Arselormittal received ten times less quota for the import of Cox than the mitnest

The interdepartmental commission of Ukraine on quotas for the import of coal coking coal yesterday at its meeting distributed quotas between the country's metallurgical enterprises for the next three months. It is reported by UGMK.info.

In accordance with the applications and decisions of the Commission, the Metinvest group, a monthly quota is allocated for the import of coking coal in the amount of 650 thousand tons (for three months - 1 million 950 thousand tons), the industrial union of Donbass (ISD) - about 340 thousand tons of coal per month (1 million 20 thousand tons), Evrazi - 125 thousand tons of tons of tons (375 thousand tons), "Arcelormittal crooked horn" - 60 thousand 500 tons (181 thousand 500 tons), "Donetskstal" - 71 thousand tons (213 thousand tons) and Eastk - 25 thousand tons (75 thousand tons)

Co -coal imports were introduced by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in order to protect the domestic manufacturer. This was stated by the Minister of Energy Eduard Stavitsky.

The distribution of quotas for the import into Ukraine of Koks was entrusted with the interdepartmental commission led by Yuri Boyko. The entire metallurgical coke entering the customs territory of the country will lie in quota starting from June 1, 2013, but it is actually not imported from the end of April.

As reported, the Koksochemical Plants of the ISD group filed complaints with the court, demanding the abolition of cooking coal quotas.
