The Kryukovsky carriage plant (KVSZ, Kremenchug, Poltava region) in the first four months of the current year reduced the production of freight wagons and gondola cars by 30 percent compared to the same period last year. This is stated in the message of the press service of the enterprise.
In total, from January to April 2013, the KVSZ manufactured 2399 pieces of cargo and 33 passenger cars. During this, the production of passenger wagons increased by half in an annual comparison.
As reported, in 2012, the KVSZ increased the production of railway wagons by 2.4 percent - up to 11074 pieces, including 69 passenger wagons.
In post -Soviet times, the Kryukovsky carriageway produced more than 10 thousand cargo and more than 200 passenger cars, more than 70 percent of which was exported to near foreign countries.
